Manikin challange

In class we have been reading a book called The Losers Club. We had six activitites to do and one of those activitites was to make a comic.Here is mine. 

  

PET DAY

Every year we have a pet day at school and for pet day this year we had to write how to train a dog. If you have a dog at home  you could try this and see if it works. Please let me know how you get on.                  

Today I am going to teach you how to train a dog.

To train a dog you will need patience, and time, and a dog. You will also need treats to reward your dog.

First thing you need to do is get a dog and then you need to do is start teaching your dog a trick by talking to it or by using hand signals. Then you need to reward the dog when it does the trick but make sure the treats are different than what you normally feed them, meat is a good treat. If you are toilet training a dog you need to let the dog out of the house a lot and make sure the dog doesn’t wee or poo in your house, and when it does the business outside then you should reward it with a treat. Now let's say you are trying to teach your dog how to sit. To do this you will need to be consistent and if they don’t sit then you can hold a treat over their head and the dog will sit. 

Hope this will help you teach your dog. :)

P.S you need to make sure you are being nice to your pet here are some things you might not know what you are doing to hurt your dog.

Spud Competition

On Sunday 8th December we are holding a squd in a bucket competition for people who brought a bucket to help raise money for our class camp. We had to make a poster to hand out to the people who brought a bucket. Here is mine and my friend's. 

Camp

Every year we go on a class camp, and this year we went to Murchison. We did lots of activities at camp and everyone enjoyed it. Some of the activities we did were Jet Boating, Rafting, and the Natural Flames walk. When we got back to school we had to make an advert for one of the activities that we did, and for my ad I picked to do the Buller River Swing-Bridge.

PET DAY

Every year our school has a pet day. We have to make a pet day project and for part of the project we had to make a text conversation between you and your pet. Dividing Decimals

In class for math my group has been learn how to divide decimals. We had 5 questions to work out and we had to put our working out. I hope you learn something.

The Quest of Ben and Deakyn

This term for topic we have been practicing our school production. The production is about how Hans and Grets go on a quest to find the missing mother. Kawa of Care

At the start of term two we went over the Kawa of Care because we were starting to no look after our computers properly and we had some new students. We read over the rules as a class, then we had to pick three rules and put it in a comic. Here is my comic.

Holidays Homework

This Holidays for homework we had to write a book review about a book that we are reading. I choose to do mine on the book 'Percy Jackson and the Greek Heroes. Here is my review hope you enjoy.

Sailing

On the 28th we went sailing. We had to leave early so that we had some time to talk about sailing.  First we had a talk  about what we were going to do. Then we had a talk about how to set up the boat and the guy also showed us how to. Then we got put into pairs, and we had to set up a boat. Then we went sailing. Here are some pics.

Anzac Timeline

In class this term we have been learning about Anzac. We had to go onto a site called walking with an Anzac and do the first task. We had to gather facts about a solider that we picked and we had to make a timeline. I did my timeline on John Henry Allen Bollard. We had to add when they we're born right to when they died. I have also added where he died and his plaque.

Minecraft underground subway

In class we have been reading a book called 'The Recruit' by Robert Muchamore. Every week we have to do some activities so you can get 20 points. There are activities that are worth 5 points, 7 and a half points, and 10 points. Me and my friends Liam decided to a Minecraft tunnel. The tunnel is not really a tunnel but it is like a tunnel but goes up. Hope you enjoy!!!

Anzac

In class we have been learning how to use ThingLink. On ThingLink we had to put 5-7 facts about Anzac day. Once we had finished we went down to the junior class and shared it with them. To use it you have to hover over the dots and the facts will come up. Hope you enjoy.
